Soddy-Daisy and Red Bank both have growing homeschool communities and limited secular drop-off options. MindGarden Learning is a 10- to 20-minute drive south on Hwy 27 or Dayton Pike, depending on where you’re starting. Several of our families come from your area, and the route is one of the easiest commutes in the program.

The homeschool programs in northern Hamilton County are mostly faith-based. That works for plenty of families. For families who want Charlotte Mason method without religious instruction, the next-closest secular drop-off enrichment is more than an hour away. MindGarden is the closer option, and the only one that combines secular curriculum with attachment-informed teachers.

Programs available
- Roots (ages 0–5): parent-child co-op, one morning per week, $130/month per family.
- Seedlings (ages 5–9): two-day drop-off enrichment, Mondays and Wednesdays, $215/month per child with a 10% sibling discount.
- Saplings (ages 9–12): two-day drop-off, deeper studies in literature, history, science, and writing. Limited intro cohort.
- Branches (ages 13–18): teen guild, in development for a future season.
Getting to MindGarden
From Soddy-Daisy, take Dayton Pike (Hwy 27) south, then exit at Hixson Pike. The drive runs about 15–20 minutes depending on where in Soddy-Daisy you’re starting.
From Red Bank, take Dayton Boulevard north, cross over Hwy 153, and continue up Hixson Pike. About a 10-minute drive from most of Red Bank.
We’re at 6503 Hixson Pike, Suite 105-C, Hixson, TN 37343, sharing space with Jungle Fun Center. Easy parking, easy drop-off.
Tennessee homeschool families in Hamilton County register with the school district or with a church-related school umbrella. MindGarden doesn’t handle the registration paperwork side. We’re the enrichment partner, not the school.
