About MindGarden Learning
Gentle Learning for Growing Hearts & Minds
MindGarden Learning is a relationship-centered homeschool community where children grow through curiosity, play, meaningful work, and the steady presence of caring adults. Inspired by Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education and informed by modern developmental and attachment science, MindGarden creates environments where children can grow into learning rather than being pushed ahead of it.
Our Story 🌱
MindGarden Learning grew from a deep desire to offer something different—a place where childhood is honored, relationships are at the center, and learning unfolds with curiosity, trust, and time to grow.
As homeschooling parents ourselves, we longed for a community that brought together two powerful ideas.
The rich educational philosophy of Charlotte Mason, which honors the dignity and personhood of the child.
And the developmental insights of Dr. Gordon Neufeld, whose work shows how attachment, emotional development, and maturation form the foundation for healthy learning and growth.
When these two perspectives meet, something remarkable happens.
Education becomes less about pushing children forward and more about creating the conditions in which they can grow well. MindGarden Learning was created to offer that kind of environment.
A Learning Village 🏡
MindGarden is more than a program. It is a growing learning village where families support one another in the work of raising and educating children.
Parents remain central to their children’s development, and teachers work alongside families to create environments where children feel safe enough to explore, curious enough to learn, and supported enough to face challenges.
Many parents discover that they are not only finding a program for their children—they are finding the community they themselves have been hoping for. MindGarden exists because families need that village too.
Our Educational Philosophy 🔍
MindGarden brings together insights from Charlotte Mason’s philosophy of education, developmental psychology, and attachment science to create environments that support the whole child.
In our programs, children encounter:
