Developmental learning rooted in relationship
for growing hearts & minds
A Charlotte Mason–inspired, attachment-based enrichment program
for ages 0–18 in Hixson, TN
What is MindGarden?
MindGarden Learning is a secular enrichment community rooted in Charlotte Mason’s philosophy and attachment-based development in the greater Chattanooga area. You’ll find four programs that grow with your child: a parent-child co-op for the youngest, two-day drop-off enrichment for school-age children, and a teen guild for older students. Every program leads with real relationships, living ideas, and steady rhythms that make space for meaningful work.

Why this approach
Two ideas shape every day at MindGarden
Charlotte Mason’s philosophy
Living books, narration, and meaningful work form the foundation of our approach. Children engage with ideas through story, relationship, and experience, allowing understanding to grow naturally over time.
Attachment-based development
Children learn best in the context of strong, secure relationships. MindGarden is grounded in developmental and attachment science, with rhythms, routines, and teacher support designed to help children feel safe, connected, and ready to learn.
Meet your teachers
Real relationships with the adults in the room are what make MindGarden work. Teachers are supported by a shared developmental framework, with an emphasis on connection, guidance, and creating an environment where children can grow and learn with confidence.
