The mission of the non-profit is to engage the local community through indigenous cultural preservation and education. One way that we seek to carry out our mission is through our community garden. Through the garden we are able to preserve and pass along traditional indigenous knowledge (TIK) and demonstrate a reciprocal relationship with creation. Our garden serves a three-fold purpose:

1. Preservation of indigenous heirloom seeds
2. Demonstration of reciprocal relationships with nature through the cultivation of a three-sister’s garden (corn, beans and squash)
3. Making fresh, organic produce available to under-resourced populations. 

We invite the community to join us in our efforts to preserve seed, change from a consumer oriented relationship with nature to a reciprocal one, and create healthy living through food equity!
