We’re excited to welcome Cottage Creek Garden to our August Homeschool 100! Courtney Park, the author behind the Cottage Creek Garden picture books (written as Zinnia Creek), will join us with a short story time and a hands-on take-home activity: each child gets to plant a real zinnia seed to grow at home. Come say hello, hear a story about a busy little honeybee, and start a little garden of your own.
Every child goes home with a planting card and a real zinnia seed. Cottage Creek Garden is also giving families a free ebook, Moss Finds His Spot, to anyone who joins their mailing list at cottagecreekgarden.com/free. That is Cottage Creek Garden’s own list, not MindGarden’s.
Meet Darana Campbell, Executive Director of Forest Families, and learn about the many opportunities they provide for children and families to connect with nature through outdoor play, hikes, and community events. We’re excited to partner with Forest Families this year to help MindGarden families enjoy more time together outdoors.
