Miss Claire
Assistant Teacher
Claire brings a warm, gentle, and creative presence to MindGarden Learning, where she works alongside our Roots families. A Chattanooga-based dancer and movement educator, she holds a degree in Dance from Ohio University and has trained extensively within the Chattanooga arts community. She delights in helping young children explore movement in playful, natural ways, creating relaxed, joyful experiences where children can stretch, sway, jump, imagine, and discover what their bodies can do.
Beyond the dance studio, Miss Claire has worked with children from infancy through adolescence through swim lessons, day camps, overnight camps, lifeguarding, and many years of nannying. She also holds a master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science and previously worked as a nutrition counselor and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) with WIC, supporting families during the early years of parenting.
As both an educator and a mother, Miss Claire is passionate about creating calm, welcoming spaces where young children feel safe to explore, play, and grow. She looks forward to building relationships with families and learning alongside parents as we all continue growing in our understanding of children and the important role we play in their development.
